FAQ

Here are answers to some of the most common questions about my  services.

What method do you use for sessions? Do you provide in-person services as well?

Sessions can take place through any combination of phone, email, text, or video. I am not offering ongoing in-person services at this time, but we can discuss meeting in person if a specific need arises.

What age children are your sessions for? Are you available for prenatal or older children?

Because children develop at their own unique pace, I don’t use specific chronological ages as cutoffs. My primary experience is with the developmental stages of early childhood - newborn through age five - but I’m happy to talk with you about an older child and help guide you toward appropriate next steps.

Planning ahead for a new baby is always a great idea, and my approach is family-centered. Please feel free to reach out if you’re an expectant parent or if you have concerns about sibling dynamics.

Can I give your services to someone as a gift?

Yes. I wish I had received a Parent Coaching session as a gift when I was raising my young children!  Please reach out to me to arrange this.

What if I don’t know what services I need or how many sessions I will need?

Let’s talk and figure this out together! My services are designed with flexibility in mind. You always have the option to pay per session or purchase a package at a discounted rate. As we meet, your goals and needs may evolve, and we can adjust accordingly. There is no need to make a big commitment up front.

Does my child need a diagnosis to work with you?

No. While I have experience working with children who have a wide range of diagnosed conditions, my consulting and coaching services are designed for all parents and caregivers of young children.

Whether your child is experiencing developmental delays or following a typical developmental path, I can provide practical, effective strategies to help you navigate common challenges such as improving sleep routines, mealtimes, play and transitions between activities.  â€‹

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance.

What days of the week and hours are you available for sessions?

Currently, I have the flexibility to meet with you seven days a week - mornings, afternoons, and evenings - as long as sessions are scheduled in advance.  Additionally, when my schedule permits, I try to respond to messages “on-demand” to provide coaching for those precious real-time situations.
